INAUGURAL CDYR YOUTH FELLOWSHIP: APPLICATION NOW OPEN to Chicagoland youth ages 14-21!

In CDYR's inaugural 2023-2024 fellowship is a small, cohort-style program where youth will build relationships with other young people, deepen their understanding of the issues impacting our communities, and strengthen their organizing skills in a series of workshops and convenings over the next 9 months. Expectations + Additional Info:

  • Fellows meet twice a month, in-person, July 2023 - March 2024 (break in December).

  • If accepted, fellows must commit to attending at least 90% of all meetings + commit to spending ~10 hours per month on the fellowship (includes meeting time).

  • Fellows will receive a total stipend of $1,600 (in $400 payments every two months).

  • Meeting locations will change based on the program for the day, but all locations will be in the Chicagoland area. Transport stipends and carpooling (where possible) will be available for each meeting.

  • Food/snacks will be provided at each meeting.
